So I made myself one. Only evidently I didn't try hard enough. I was under the impression the term worked for any oddly colored canine who wore silly human clothing. But it seems there are more stringent stipulations!I was thinking, while I was working, how ludicrous I wanted to make it, and decided to go rather conservatively. There aren't any absurdly bright, clashing colors are completely ridiculous accessories. But it's got some piercings and human type hair and textiles. Oh, and the glasses. I had a bit of a chuckle at the glasses.
Way back when I used to design lion characters for no real reason other than the fact that it was entertaining. I have a few silly lion characters. No sparkledogs
I managed to dodge that bullet. Until now. Or is he a wolf? I don't know. A wolf/dog cross.
'Sparkledog' makes me think they should sparkle in the sunlight. That just makes me laugh all the harder.
THEY DAZZLE ME D8<As a bit of a disclaimer, I don't have anything against anyone who does draw what would be termed a sparkledog. If that's what someone enjoys drawing, then that's what they should draw.

I wish I could doodle different poses. I just started drawing dogs not too long ago, and I can really only get them in a profile standing or sitting positions. *sad face here*

I think you just failed, I wouldnt call this a sparkledog either. IT DOESNT EVEN come close to one my god. Most sparkledogs, you cant tell what the hell they are or ANYTHING. You can pretty much tell what kind of canine this is...that and the colors are really nice. The only thing "sparkledog-esque" about this is.....the ~*accessories*~, but they're not even.. that bad, or even close to bad. My fursona has ~*armwarmers..and a scarf*~..but her design's pretty normal lol.
LOL IDK, its just taking my mind a while to process the fact that this is supposed to be a sparkledog.
But like I said, this character's too nicely designed to be thrown into that sort of crowd haha. His colors are so appealing, and with those accessories of his, I can totally see him having a human form. That's pretty much the point of the accessories anyways! At least for me. Its like an indicator...I guess.....idk, that's the only reason why my characters while in quad form wear bits of accessorized...things...and have other...things that belong on people lol.

I kinda have a thing for characters with glasses 8| I dont care if it doesnt make sense that they cant stay on or not, I just really like the look for some..strange......silly reason. It kinda made me lol when they threw in a dog with glasses in Meet the Robinsons. Its like if people ever ask how the glasses stay on, well the answer lies there hah.
