believe it or not, after years on the lionking fanart archive, this is my very first picture of simba. Why? Because Simba is a little dork. That's right, I didn't like him at all. I thought he was a brat, and a coward in the first movie and a dope in the second one. But Then I saw the french version of the Lion King, and he had a totally different personality. I felt sorry for the french him. Maybe it's just that Jonathan Tailor Thomas kid that bugs me, I dunno. I rushed the BG because I'm really really really really tired, but wanted to get it done before sleeps. Anyway, enjoy. Thought I did pretty good for no sleep and no refs.

*hibbary, the fact that you pulled this off without a trace or reference amazes me. This is nearly production quality! (just a few touchups around some edges and it would be perfect)
I'm still practicing with just the TLK eyes and have yet to do a full face, or even the body.
(I have alot of trouble with the mouth/nose and how it should be proportioned and angled on the face)
Anyways, Great work!
I would love it though if you did somthing like this with a brief animation such as him talking or changing expressions.

This looks like a screen capture from the movie. Very nice detail. I like the young Simba but I hated him in Lion King II he was such a jerk.
