Well, I started this picture probably a half year ago. Now I really need to study so... I took unfinished picture, finished it, made digital, coloured and now - it's done. More or less.Probably some of you recognise this scene from classic comic "Blue". I did read this comic few month ago and totally fell in love with this frame. And then I thought "well, what if they have symbiotes?" So now they got symbiotes. How awesome is that?
Can you imagine that? Gwen with her own Carnage, she wouldn't be so nice with this thing under (and on) her skin. And Peter with Venom, that's the stuff. I see them as completely devastated couple with mental illness. They're crazy but they love each other. This is sweet, isn't it?
You can say "maaan, MJ is a red-head, she suits Carnage more!" but from a start I want to recreate scene from comic Blue. Gwen is necessary. I didn't consider MJ at all during work on this picture. It came to my mind just 5 minutes ago.

Well, in the What if..The Other? Peter rejected the Spider and ends up bonding with Venom and become Poison. In the final picture of the issue, it's implied he resurrect Gwen and she would have a red suit similar to Carnage, so don't worry.

Love the detail and shadowing you've put in on the blue symbiote, especially around their legs. Must have taken you ages and looks really good.
