My personal rendition of a post-T-Veronica Steve.EDIT: Followed *Driven-Crazy 's advice and changed the path of the vein on Steve's neck so it doesn't line up perfect with the line on his jaw.

Awesome drawing! And very interesting idea. I think Steve, if he does come back *crosses fingers*, may look like this since he didn't receive treatment right away. Also, I really like how you did his hair and eyes--his expression is just daring you to judge his appearance.

Thanks! I'm really not sure what he'd look like if he came back, since he did turn back completely when he "died." However, it makes for a more interesting concept to try and work in some aspects of the infection, especially when taking it from a more storyline perspective.
I won't be holding my breath, but I do hope he comes back in the future.

Thanks! I use references for new angles and if I'm having a hard time figuring out how something looks (like the underside of a jaw and lips from a profile shot). There're a few pictures floating around where I've lifted poses. I have a humor Lady Gaga series I'm sketching out that involves a -lot- of references so I can get the costumes and poses right.

Very nice; I love the tint of red in Steve's eyes, and the scale-like infection speckling his body, and slowly crawling to his face. Wonderful!

The red tint was actually born out of a compromise. I had my friend discussing what color to make his eyes and we thought making the entire iris red would be too overwhelming/Weskerish. So the subtle slip-in seemed most effective.

what RE games did you play?

RE 2 as both Leon and Claire, RE 3 up to the Dead Factory (Long story behind why I quit), RECV several times through, RE4 several times through, RE5 twice now.
I have a trauma issue with the original so I'm still too terrified to play it. I did try the REmake, but I panicked so bad I got bitten by the racetrack zombie and quit. XD
And I'm getting ready to try my luck and play RE 0.
I don't have a Wii yet (that's coming later this year), and Darkside Chronicles will be my first game for that, I know.

The form of the spine was actually an addition I did after laying everything out. When I'd finished drawing the scales, I thought maybe I should give some indication to the enhanced spine curvature he has in Tyrant form.
