Frankly it's been ages since my dynamic duo last appeared. Figured I'd try something different for once, although, really, all I did differently was pose them funny, wash out all the colors, then only use four colors all up.I kinda like how it looks, but at the same time the background is very, very iffy.
I was going for a bit of campy vibe, if'n it's not noticeable.
Well, anyway, to those of you in the club, these are Sera and Mel, my 'spokesmodels' for my zombified website . They're pregnant. Quite often, in fact!
Sera has cheered up considerably ever since Mel showed up.
Sera's numan ears are (C) Sega.

OK, this is very 70s retro. And it works!
The bright, more spring tones of this piece add the happiness factor for the viewer. The fact the girl's are posed much like something from a retro TV show give credence to the Title of "They Fight Crime"
The biggest drawbacks to the picture as a whole are the sketch lines that are still visible in Mel's shoulder and arm as well as the ones around her hips and thighs. You cleaned up Sera's side nicely, but failed to on Mel, why is that?
Still a great piece and one that should be on the cover of A DVD for the Retro TV Show "They Fight Crime" e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="

Sort of. Sera's a numan I invented way back when I wanted to make fun of Phantasy Star Universe/needed an excuse to draw a fat numan. Since then she's kinda grown into her own unique original character (and oddly enough completely removed from the fetish that spawned her), and is one of my personal favorites.
Mel was created when people jokingly mentioned that Sera was a bit too hostile on the front pages of my website, so I made her a co-worker. Mel is less defined, but I imagine she's not as quick to anger as Sera can be when dealing with this crowd.
That said, Sera's in love with Mel but I haven't quite figured out if it'll be mutual or not.
Er, this particular Sera is in love with Mel. There's...like a billion Seras at this point. I should probably invent a new character or two.

Well, there's a few instances. First, there's part one and part two of the PS comic, and also she's in the corner of this collage.
Neither instance is any good, really.

It's an interesting piece of backstory, nonetheless, though I'd really not want to get on her badside if she were a big girl.
Maybe I'll draw some fanart of her someday. Maybe.
