So here is Auror Potter.I think of Harry as being a bit tall- like 5 11
Why?
Because his father is described as being tall, and Harry is just as tall as his father in 'Snape's Worst Memory'.
People seem to think of Harry as short- but he was only small when he was underfed and like 11 years old, imo. I think of him as shooting up a lot over fifth-seventh year and catching up with his dad's genetics.
Perhaps people just think of him as short because Daniel Radcliffe is a wee man? Or they just hold on to that 11 year old Harry description.
When thinking about the Auror official robe design I wanted to go tailored military, practical boots. I like military uniforms from the 1800's through early 20th century. I wish our dress uniforms were half that handsome now.

Excellent costume design! Allows for lots of freedom of movement, and he looks hot.
After seeing that Dan is really short, sometimes I imagined that the treatment from the Dursley's affected his height as an adult. (Living in a cupboard, not enough food.)
Nice to think that in the end he thrived and gained his natural height like his Dad.

Harry Potter is not short, I agree.
He is a head taller than Cho Chang in OOTP. That means he was 8-14 inches taller than her, and I doubt she was a hobbit.
In the end of Deathly Hallows, it says that he is the exact height as his father, who even Voldemort considered to be tall.
I'd peg Harry at 6'0 since 5'11 is average.

Yeah, lately I've started ignoring the movies because so many times the result wouldn't be anywhere near what I thought about the books. This is actually much closer to what I was trying to picture.

I agree Harry must have grown taller!!! I never pictured him as tall as Ron, because during the books J.K. Rowling always comments on Ron's heigh. But I don't think Harry stayed so short. In book 6th, if I'm not mistaken, when Harry is impressed because so many people signed for quidditch try outs, Hermione says that there were so many people interested in Gryffindor's try outs because he was never more interesting. She ends her speech by saying that the fact that he grew up so much during summer was also a contribution. I remember this especially because Ron acts very jealousy, and says that he is tall too!!

It did say in book 6 that harry shot up a good few inches. The uniform here is awesome and easy to see for aurors.

honestlly i love the drawing for many reasons the style is something that would seem to fit the aurors and also harry looks very hot here and i agree with you i do see harry as being taller than protrayed in the films. the slight drool was a complete take over of my Harry Potter Fangirl side lol

we think he's small because daniel radcliffe is about 4 feet tall...no i'm kidding! but he's definitely no taller than 5'3. Anywhoo, yes he is supposed to be quite tall but tiny dan just ruined the whole 'harry is hot' think rowling had going on from about book 6.

Great sketch of adultauror!Harry. You're completely correct about Harry being tall. From the books, it seems that he had a growth spurt the summer before sixth year and kept on track with his father's height. While you're probably right about his height, the men in my family are all above six feet so 5 11 doesn't seem tall to me. It's all perspective, isn't it?

I see Ginny as being itty bitty- like 5'2"- but between her red hair, her vivacious personality etc. she doesn't come across as itty bitty at all.

I think I picture him as around 5'10" average height, but I also see him as always being skinny. Even when he's older and always has plenty to eat.

Darn it!! Harry is taller than me by an inch! lol I suppose, when compared to how apparently gigantic Ron is, it sort of dwarfs him. Hehe
I didn't expect the robes to look like this, but I like the style. THe Wizarding World doesn't really follow the timeline of us muggles so the old fashioned style really works. I'm trying to imagine Shacklebolt in it while he was in charge and it's quite the impressive look. It sort of demands authority which is, of course, pefect for their line of work. Niiiiiiccce!
