Why the hell haven't the shipping wars started yet? I want you people to make me lol. I want you to go insane like Zutara Vs. Kataang, I want you to go crazy like Pokeshipping Vs. Pearlshipping, I want you to go mad like EdwardXBella Vs. JacobXBella..wait, not that last one. But you know what I mean!Lmao, I keep looking around DA and keep finding so many journal entries. If you like this so much, start drawing! I want madness! I want to see the horribly made up OC's, the crazy obessesive yaoi fangirls, the lack of reasoning and character distortion. Make me laugh people! All my other fandoms do, when will this one?
Anyways..the picture. Tygra is such a man whore..or tiger whore.. Whatever. He's a whore. Playboy. I love him. And his relationship with Lion-O feels so natural, they feel like real brothers. He may be very different from his OS incarnation, but the fact that he's loyal seems to still be there somewhat through the brotherly love. I highly look forward to his character development.
He's also the easiest to draw, even if all three look like crap here.
Cheetara..god I can't fucking draw her. And I think she acted cute in the pilot. And she kicks everyone's ass...xD

I wanted to add Panthro and the kids to the last panel. But I can't draw those kids even if my life depended on it.
Wilykit climbs onto Panthro's should and sits down. "Panthro..what's a threesome?"
Panthro looks at her in shock. "Wha..what?"
Wylikat pops up from behind and looks up to Panthro. "Yeah we heard Tygra talking with Lion-O and Cheetara about that!"
Anyways. I highly look forward to the next episode. I'm hooked. And damnit, the wait is even more tedious since the toys haven't hit retail yet and my SDCC Classics Lion-O hasn't arrived!

Despite you thinking that Tygra is the best of the three you've done, I have to say you did really good on Lion-O. The new Lion-O just seems more friendly to the style of more artists than the original 80's version. Original Lion-O always had this oddness to him which made the character hard to read in a sense.
2011 Lion-O is really easy to get into due to his more childlike nature matched with a more youthful body. It allows him the ability to use comedy more freely. You almost expect it of him now.

I don't think his the best, lol. Just the easiest, since I went through his lineart really fast. Lion-O probly looks best cause I had drawn him once before this.
And I gotta agree...you take a look at the Wildstorm comics, and he changes to much. I was never really able to feel him in any for of media prior to the new statues and merchandise released of him recently.
Yeah. That's why I say adorable. He's even more relatable now IMO.

I am quite happy to say that I was equally impressed by the pilot! Excellent new interpretation, and YES, I also really hope that the fan drama reaches the same ridiculous levels you want. XD It would please me, especially since just last night, I read this hilarious comment from someone on TV Tropes that they predict 2011 Thundercats will become basically the female version of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic-- that is to say, a show meant for a MALE demographic that attracts an unexpectedly huge FEMALE fanbase. That would just be hilarious. xDD
And what's even funnier is that the solution here in your pic would be the obvious one, yet you just know the fangirls will ignore it. Ah, how predictable they are~

In all honesty. I know I will LAUGH my ass off. But since I'm a fan (of the now supremely inferior) original show and know the long running fanbase, seeing this clash of old and new feels like it may be kinda scary.
And OMFG. If it reaches MLP:FIP levels..the memes will NEVER stop. Thundercatslair.org will be in for a shock. The webmasters are all strict old schoolers (and old guys xD).

Well, of course; it's fans behaving badly. That's always worth a laugh! XD But, yes, I too am a fan of the original, even if I did fall out of touch for a while. In regards to what you said about the fandom, though, I totally know what you mean, thanks to my oft-mentioned experiences with my buddies in the Transformers fandom. The clash you're seeing now is pretty similar to what TF fans had circa 2008, when Transformers Animated debuted on CN (fun fact; Animated and new Thundercats are done by the studio!)
I KNOW, right?! I literally die laughing if it became like MLP. What do you think the female Thundercat fan's equivalent of "Brony" will be? XD What you say about the webmasters and their traditionalism is a tad frightening, though; if they're anything like the guys at, say, TFormers or Seibertron, we're in for shitstorm city with the influx of new fans...

No problem, pal. ^^ I love it too! It's definitely anime-esque, but in a more "authentic" way than a lot of other such shows; much less obnoxious, much more pleasing. If this pic's an indicator, I'm certain you'll adapt to the style quite nicely~

OMFG...MLP is everywhere. I've even encountered fans in real life now, guys. I imagine if this happens with TCats, I'm at work and it's a teenage girl going on about Lion-O and not an 8 year old boy..xD And no idea, I don't even thing TCat fans have a term. o_o;;

Nah, fangirls have been here forever; you know, the Megatron/Starscream yaoi lovers. XD But, yes, I did mean more of a general thing, with old fans being annoyed at the new material and such; it's happening now with Transformers Prime, too. Such is the fate of any revived 80s franchise, I suppose... (And, indeed, it is. The main difference is that TC actually has something resembling a budget, unlike Animated...stupid CN and their bias against Hasbro properties!)

I WISH it were a small minority. XD But, yes, that was indeed a bright point for Animated. And the song was by JAM Project, too! Total definition of GAR hot-bloodedness, even if the opening itself was kinda spoiler-filled and not entirely accurate to the in-show events. But hey, I totally hope the same for Thundercats too; all awesome Western cartoons deserve cool Japanese intros!
Hehe...yeah, they're always shy about it. xP I myself am a bit different, since I was lucky enough to find fellow pony fans at school (well, actually, I didn't so much "find" them as I "converted" them...), and have actually grown accustomed to talking about it openly. The ones I've met where reluctant. But I managed to convince them I think the whole thing is cool (more now that I'm starting to watch the show..Pinky is hilarious). One even showed me about the rarer figures on a Hasbro booklet (which tempted me to buy some..). And lmao if that does catch on.
Don't remind me of the Craig and Genndy situations. That's when they crossed the line! Atleast Genndy got an offer at Sony with a lot of liberties I believe. But what has happened to Craig? Those two men helped build Cartoon Network. T_T

And now that I've submerged myself into the fandom and proudly walk around with a Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle backpack..I kind of get them. My co-workers an brother find my love for te ponies really weird. XD And I just love how she makes things "lulwut?", but if I have to name a favourite it's Fluttershy.
I don't know if he reffered to the blind bags, now knowing quite a bit about them (since I plan on getting some). But I don't think he did. Wasn't the set released in Europe? Like 24? I know the only thing I've heard has been sighted in the US has been that four pack with Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight and AppleJack (I may be wrong about one of them but I know it's a four pack). And good luck finding anything MLP:FIM at NYCC..I wish I had that chance..xD
The shows they currently have are good, even if I don't care about more than half..but that's me. I just hate how the channel treats and manages everything. They're to impatient and won't think twice about selling out.
I have been tempted about asking Faust..I know she gets a million messages a day. But I think there's a sligt chance she'd take notice of one that says "What's going on with Craig?". xD
