It just isn't possible.What I love about this picture is not the castle itself or anything like that. It's the fact that I drew this in a Harry Potter frenzy over three and half years ago, just before turning thirteen. It just reminds me of some of the things that keep me a kid at heart.
The sketch isn't finished, nor will it ever be. It was supposed to overlook a lake-- thelake, for you fellow Harry Potter fans-- that I never QUITE got to. But I got Hogwarts.
Landscapes were always my thing. People and animals are new to me, and I can see I have a lot of practice to do on landscapes in the future.... though I'd love to imagine I've improved since '07.

Aww, it's like mini Hogwarts! I can see th childlike excitement in it too, which is EASILY the best part... What do you say to a remake? I'd love to see this redone with your new perspective on it. (But it's OK to decline the challenge of course.)

Huh. Maybe I will. Sounds like a fun project. So I should try remaking it as a pencil sketch, or should I explore some other medium for a remake, if I find time to do one?
