Denise and the Master of Jann
Denise Miller was taking a stroll through Central Park. The 26 year old teacher had only recently moved to New York to start a new job as a history teacher at a local high school. The new term had begun a couple of weeks ago. Things seemed to look smooth for Denise. She even started dating Geoffrey, a collegue. In fact, she was to meet him at Times Square later this day, which was a beautiful day in late September. The first leaves were turning yellow and red. Temperature was still quite warm but the wind was getting stronger over the last days. A burst of wind carried some yellow leaves and some pieces of paper. Denise suddenly felt a piece of paper blown right into her face. When she grabed it, she saw that it was a flyer.
“Visit the Palmyra goods emporium. Best historic artifacts and trinkets in town.”
Since Denise was a history teacher, the flyer caught her attention. Maybe she should visit that shop? She might as well find something interesting there. Denise turned aro
