Ivanna needed a moment to understand the situation. “You are a genie?”

Gregorios nodded.

“And you can grant me anything I wish for?”

“There are some limitations. I can’t kill or resurrect a person.” Sami explained.

“Can you cure any disease?” Ivanna asked quickly.

Sami nodded.

“Then I wish that you will cure my ill father.” Ivanna stated her wish.

“Your wish is granted!” Gregorios blinked.

Instantly, Ivanna felt like her whole body was on fire. A terrible pain concentrated in her chest. Ivanna had to sit down. Then she felt a terrible nausea. Ivanna vomited blood. “What
did you do to me?” she asked with a pain-distorted face.

“I granted your wish. Your father is alive and healthy. But the cancer had to go somewhere, so I placed it in your body.” Gregorios explained with an evil smile.

“You monster! I wish that you cure me as well but you won’t make anybody else ill instead!” Ivanna commanded.

“I’m sorry mistress, but you only got one wish. Have a nice day.” Gregorios turned into smoke and returned to his bottle.

Amelia, Babette and Martha headed back from town. They had spent a wonderful afternoon in the city. At the tram stop, where they met earlier that day, Amelia and Babette said goodbye to Martha. On the whole way back, the dog sniffled regularly on the marks by other dogs. Now the dog was back to the place it had examined earlier this day. This time it didn’t turn its head away but raised its leg and placed its own mark.
About 10 Minutes later, Babette and Amelia arrived at the hotel. Babette bid Amelia farewell, then the maid returned to her room. On the way, Amelia encountered the cat again that she was very afraid of. Suddenly, the dog moved between Amelia and the cat and growled at the cat. The cat hissed back and arched its back. A loud bark from the dog finally chased the cat away. The dog turned back to Amelia, his tail wagging. Amelia patted its head. “Good boy!” she said.
When Amelia passed the door of Svetlana’s room, she heard voices behind it. Amelia knew it was bad behavior but her curiosity was stronger. She stopped to eavesdrop.
