The sun had just begun to set as the shapeshifter and her tokota trotted along the snow covered alaskan wilderness. The autumn air was crisp and cold that turned their hot breath to fog around their mouths. The fox's long tail flicked ever so slightly as they began to head up a nearby elevated 'path' covered in small delicate hoof prints that appeared to have belonged to a doe of some sorts judging by the smaller prints beside it. Maja gave a gentle smile at her companion "Isn't new life beautiful, my friend?" She asked, only receiving a snort in return from the tokota beside her. Snowball was exhausted from the long journey and the short one ahead of them. They had plenty of time to clear it, being only on the second day, but they had covered a lot of ground the previous two days and he was looking forward to a deep sleep. Their attention was brought to the darkening sky that was now lighting up with a soft blue glow to compliment the twinkling stars that lit their way. The snow had softly begun to fall with the hastily dropping temperature and swept past them in a beautiful dance of snowflakes.
