i really like this very neat and clean theme, specially the taskbar. just a few request if you can make the scroll bar look like macs style and graphite colour and also the caption buttons that when you hover on it will show macs traffic light style. and one more the status bar, the menu bar and the folder band (i think thats the term) make it graphite colour too... and the rest the same as in the picture...i have some style that i want in my mind but i dont know anything bout making this sort of stuff and how...anyway thanks for this wonderful theme!...looking forward for ur future works...

I checked out the version with the static menu bar, overall it looks better in my opinion. I do miss the auto-hiding bar though. I really can't wait to see an updated release... where's this RC2 you speak of? Haha, just kidding, take your time, it'll be worth it

I didn't clarify, I meant your recommendation to use a dark wallpaper really makes it look better. However, sometimes when windows are open it is still hard to read some of the text of the start menu.

the preview looks great. But: Once i've loaded your style, the top-window-bar changes to standard vista basic-style and does not become transparent. The Taskbar changes correctly. Other styles are working ...

i dont actually think i'd change a thing to this vs..it has to be the best vista vs i've seen so far man..i especially love how the one bar in explorer becomes minimized until mouse over!

Wow... this VS has some real potential, seriously I like it... except:
1. The invisible close/min/max buttons aren't good, a user shouldn't have to guess where those buttons are.
2. In the address bars, when maximized, there should be some kind of background to make it easy to read the current location.
3. The start menu folders are too hard to read on anything but a dark desktop.
What I really really like is the auto-hiding explorer bar with the "organize," "views," etc... buttons, that's really cool.
I also like the thick borders, and the outline, but maybe the outline can be dimmed a little bit, or at least lower the spread.
To the author: I will follow this theme, and I really hope you spend some more time with it. Great job.

I love the theme...! Looks great.. As for me I'm a top shellstyle user so when the shell is on top it looks very little in size rather than to be fit. Hope it'll be fixed in the final. On my desk now

Very nice but please make a blue startorb or a colorized windows flag in the button. looks better. ^^ and can you make light borders for the taskbar and startmenu? and please work on close button and the others.
But it's now a great theme, too! Good work. I'm using this now.

use extheme patch according to your vista's version (32 or 64bit), copy all the files into c:\windows\resources\themes, and that's it...

Great theme, love the whole minimalist feel of it. Really like the taskbar.
Just one thing though, could you make it so that the top shellstyle is always shown because right now the area to activate (slide out) it is quite small and can be a bit fiddly.
But other than that great work!
