character sketches for character design class. assignment was to do gestures and motion drawings.--
done on pscs5, about 1-3 min each pose. Scraps later.

Great gestures and poses. I like the Wolf's poses -- there's a combo of intimidating, tough guy walks and then kinda silly moments, too. I like how he's a bad guy who's not always just super serious and sinister -- that he has some silly moments, too.
Red looks super cute. I like her figure shapes and proportions. A lot of the poses of her sitting are adorable, and I like the one of her stretching, too.
They all have a lot of life and energy and personality. Great sketches! They're actually pretty inspiring. : )

Nice. Drawing characters doing gestures and movements really helps picking their personality.
At first I thought that Red were the cool, social and yet calm girl, but in there she's pretty much antisocial and simple. As for the wolf, I thought he'd the grumpy anti-hero like guy, but as for the lowest and rightmost gesture and the one immediatly left to it, it seems he can be a cool and somewhat responsible guy.
