Normally I use 9" x 12" sketchbooks, but several years ago I bought a 5.5" by 8.5" sketchbook to carry around in my bag. Then I lost it. Then I found it recently! Still mostly blank. I filled it out for lack of a sketchbook after finishing up my last one. I now have another large sketchbook and am already several pages in. Strangely, the smaller book was more prone to smearing.

As usual, oldest at the top, newest at the bottom, roughly. I'll rearrange them to fill in gaps, you know.

1. I guess someone's not happy with my attempts at a new outfit?
2. Have you heard of the monster of Troy? So some person found this old pottery with drawings of people fighting a- Woah is that a fossil!? It's just this floating skull, with distinct scleral ossicles so people are going crazy trying to identify it and I'm like. Hey. It's obvious the guy who painted this saw a skull. He may not have been all that faithful when he painted it. Might have just gone with what he thought looked cool. Your little trivia for the day.
3. You know, I never actually took a picture of my bratty ratty. All I have are all these rats that have infiltrated my sketchbooks.

5. There are insects called beewolves. This is awesome.
6. My awesome whippet shepherd mongrel. Except we got her DNA tested and there is not a lick of whippet, greyhound, or even Italian greyhound in her, but instead so many countless breeds that came together and turned out a mutt that looked and acted exactly like a whippet in German shepherd's skin. If you have mutt, get the DNA tested. The more you know~
7. The 4th Harry Potter movie was the last one I saw. I just got burned out on them. Ah geez, why did they decide to go all ARGH, REALISTIC with the Hungarian Horntail? They even made her a wyvern, because, you know, it's not like numerous other creatures have extra limbs in the Potterverse. I'd pictured the old girl looking like one of those big, fat, wrinkly lizards that you wonder how they move fast enough to catch anything at all (before you see them in action, WOW). Still didn't do my mind justice.
8. Draw a wolf that also looks like a barn owl? Why do I do this to myself?
9. All right, I admit it, I love drawing catoblepas. I especially love the version where it has the killer deathgaze, but it's head is too big and heavy for it to look at anything but the ground. And the possibility that such an account was inspired by wildebeest.
10. The look on Jeigan's face when he's chosen to sacrifice himself as a decoy. And the only extra clothes of Marth's that are available is his pantsless tunic.
11. Good!Ashnard, and his loyal companion Rajaion, as they wonder if anything can stop the mad queen's march. (Answer: no).
12. Future Serra is head of the Elemine Church. And Erk is the Mage General of Etruria, so she still gets to harass him all the time. This is how it happens. Don't tell me otherwise.
13. A witch to further ruin Green-Haired Magical Girl's life. I don't think she'll keep the wings.
14. The weirdest little Jack Russel ever. Violet.
