Description I have just searched deviantart for "Lanard Triple Shot" - it seems this thing is pretty unpopular With this mod I tried several things. I wanted to make a Quadshot (the original blaster shoots 3 Darts at once and holds a total of 12 darts in the turret - quadshot mods hold only 4 darts but get enormous ranges as the air meant for three darts is used to shoot just one) - but not like the ones most people know. This thing doesn't shoot regular sized darts but the 2.5cm/1inch thick darts that come with its sister-blaster (the Lanard Sawed-Off Handcannon doesn't have a turret and can therefore only shoot one dart). The modification itself was rather straight forward and I can't believe I am the first one to try this. Please let me know if anyone knows another version of this mod. Ranges were pretty good if you consider the weight and size of the darts - I am guessing they would have been around 20m/60ft. While this sounds very safe using normal darts the big Lanard darts hurt like hell - I wouldn't want to get shot in the face by this thing (at least not without a small cushion on the dart).
Most work probably went into the shoulder stock. This blaster was given to a member of the blasted.de community as part of Secret Santa thing we did last year - hopefully this year, too!

somewhere i saw a version of this that had a nerf raider stock on it but this is the first "pretty" mod i've ever seen of it. how did you do the grip/stock and did you have to change any of the trigger linkage inside?

The stock was basically done like the stocks on my Rapid Fire Teks: Very dense styrofoam in the middle, 4mm plastic sheets on the sides and filler putty all around. The trigger itself has been shaved a little (as you can see on the pic) as I had to remodel the rear of the trigger guard as well. If I hadn't shaved the trigger it couldn't have moved back all the way as the gap had to be closed with putty. Other than that the trigger mechanism remains untouched.

Ooh, fantastic work on this one! The wood parts are great and the whole look is just very dieselpunk and Fallout-y. Execution is wonderful, too, quite clean. Excellent.

Thank you very much! Would you like to participate in this year's secret santa thingy? Shipping costs would be bad but I am sure the community would be thrilled to have a celebrity modder doing the secret santa thing as well I am not really expecting you to say yes, so no pressure^^

Hmm... if not only because you used the term "Celebrity Modder", I'll at least give it a look and see if I have anything santa-able on the table. Who says flattery won't get you anywhere?

EDIT: Weeeell Germany is a bit far I think, plus I've had trouble shipping there before so I'm gonna opt out of this one as much as I'd like to do it. I'll dedicate my next creation in y'all's honor though.
