I love the variety of techniques you used in this piece. Can you explain/show me how you work with gel transfer?

I am, terribly. But there is so much to do with my father, so very much. Every day I feel more of my cell walls dissolving.

I remember that time after I lost my mother - just when I was fragile and vulnerable, my father needeed constant mothering. Wish I could pop in for a cup of tea and a chat. Alas for 18-hour flying time ...

They do. They are. I have to move along Kanchan's Truffles, too. Things have been sticking in the machine, but I feel some unjamming coming soon.

Looking forward to the results. Write a jam recipe (oh, I forgot, you call it jelly) while you're at it.

Wow this is too intense...
All those layers paid off, this is indeed a very mature work not only in concept but in execution

It was only when I was listing the ingredients in the deviation description that I realised how many layers I'd slapped on it!

I liked the birds too too - they were initially too bright so then I washed them over with sepia ink. Then they were too dull, so I melted beeswax into them to give them depth. That's how collage goes ...

Thank you - I found the prize certificate (First prize for drawing) for my grandmother. She was a nurse in World War I and died young, so I was wondering what happened to her artistic talent.
