Yes.um. The canvas was full of eyeletted holes already - an aborted previous project - so I just incorporated them. Rather arbitrary, really. But maybe they're peepholes into an alternate universe?

I will β¦ when I get around to it, right not I have collage-artist-block. Iβm writing fairly well, and I can make jewelry when Iβm restless, but I canβt seem to get excited about collaging, and I never do it when Iβm not excited by the idea of it.

I get that regularly - listlessly moving pictures around on the canvas and not "feeling" any of it. I hate when that happens, but I've learnt to trust that the energy returns eventually!

Yes, I am also sure it will. Perhaps even today. I had a friend over yesterday, and her 10 yr old daughter is artistic but never made a collage. So I let her loose with my papers and gave her a blank spiral bound journal (I buy that kinda stuff, then never find I use them).
Watching her create beauty is probably all the motivation I will need today. Only thing is, I took some pain medicine for my MS and feel ssooooo sleepy!
