I like your use of the lace overlay, and how it almost seems to pixelate the painting. The patterns and textures fit together so well. β™₯
I also love the quote that you've used - 'it is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves'. Where's it from?

The quote is actually a common misquote of Shakespeare: "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves, that we are underlings ..." (Julius Caesar)

The minute I saw this I was in love (before I knew it was in β€œFramed).
How did you get the soft focus, blurred effect in the centre? It’s gorgeous, like a memory.
