Description Nauja and Sura stepped out into the valley from the forest. It had been a peaceful walk through the transforming forest. The air had a definite winter chill now and every living thing was preparing for the swiftly coming winter. For now though, Sura stared in awe at the brilliant splashes of orange, red, and yellow that blanketed the mountain sides of the Superiors. This time of year was a popular tourist spot and the valleys between the mountains were rife with game and resources. Nauja sniffed at the air and sneezed, unimpressed by the occasional color or two her canine eyes could see. Leaves floated through the air as they walked through the tall grass of the meadow. The occasional stump or rock broke up the mostly grassy landscape. A sudden bark made Nauja freeze in her tracks and look up. Sura leaned forward and scanned the valley to see what made it. Suddenly, around 30 yards in front of them, a white wolf lept up onto a large boulder and eyed them curiously. Nauja shifted around nervously, but Sura knew one wolf was no danger to them and encouraged the white Tokota to keep walking. A few yards closer and Nauja froze once more as a second white wolf appeared next to the first. Sura persuaded Nauja to keep moving once more, but kept an eye on the pair as they walked by. In an instant both wolves broke out into a dead sprint at them. Nauja bolted before Sura could completely right herself in the saddle and nearly fell off. She'd have to scold her Tokota later because now both wolves ran along side them. Sura noticed the wolves weren't snarling or snapping at Naujas heels, but bounding through the grass tails wagging. Nauja must've noticed it too as she had relaxed her gait a bit and slowed down, but still felt a little tense at the situation. The female wolf ran ahead, tongue hanging loosely from her mouth. The male kept pace along side the Tokota, yipping to his mate on occasion. Sura smiled and edged Nauja on, realizing they had been challenged to an autumn race across the Superiors valley. Truly it would be a day neither Nauja or Sura would forget. For Nauja at least, maybe wolves aren't so scary after all.

10.) Your tokota has their first brush with their animal companion. The experience us unforgettable, but the way your tokota interprets this new-found connection is up to you.

OMG!  This is so stunningly beautiful <3

Thank you so much!

I adore Nauja in your style.  And she looks like she's having so much fun, carrying Sura as she races the wolves through a perfect Autumn scene.

The story is a wonderful accompaniment to the image as well.
