Description
This is first from series of combined flags. Every entry will be flag of supranational language with traits common for majority of speakers. The first is for German: it combines Hohenstauf tricolor (originated in Württemberg) with Iron Cross (originated in Prussia). Black and yellow are Habsburg colors and Iron Cross used to be Austrian roundel, so this flag is perfectly acceptable for Austrians. White border of cross can resemble the Swiss Cross. This flag supersedes my older flag of German language .
