damn that shit hurted
event; "Blythe gets chased by an avalanche! On the race to safety, he sees a man made structure."
CV | welcoming committee < previous | next > CV | healing image | a short rest
Blythe was most certainly blessed. He found blueberries - blueberries! The stallion didn’t know how long it had been since he’d tasted blueberries, and they were perfectly ripe. Not to mention the roots he’d dug up, it was a bounteous feast.
The horse’s belly now full, he decided to move on, weaving his way through the trees of the forest. With this luck, Blythe felt as though nothing could possibly go wrong for him. Oh, the irony…
But as “luck” would have it, Blythe’s day was about to get a little more inconvenient. Coming upon a tall slope, the stallion stopped and surveyed his surroundings. The slope seemed to be the result of a landslide, and looked difficult to cross. At the bottom was a small ravine filled with mud and debris, but frozen over from the harsh winter. The branches that protruded from the heap looked jagged and potentially dangerous, it would be difficult to walk across.
Looks like I’ll have to go the hard way… The stallion sighed, taking a step forward and beginning to ease across the slope. The snow was deep, but loosely packed, as every step Blythe took, more and more sheets of snow tumbled down into the ravine. This created a domino effect, and eventually the snow started to fall without Blythe even touching it.
Anxiety crept into the stallion the more snow that fell, and he started to regret his decision. Not good, not good. Stupidly and out of sheer panic, the large creature picked up his pace, but this only caused him to lose his footing, and he crumpled onto the snow. The snow reacted to this by completely crumbling and sliding down the slope, taking the horse with it in a huge avalanche.
Blythe let out a startled whinny as he fell into the heap of snow in the ravine, a branch catching him on the shoulder, then on his back ankle as he scrambled to get up. He quickly stumbled his way out of the ravine, and made it safely across… Mostly. Blythe heaved, his heart pounding as he looked back at the slope, noticing that the entire thing had been cleared of snow.
Damn this winter… He cursed with a scowl, turning his head to look at the small wound on his ankle. It would heal, but the injury he sustained on his shoulder would plague him for a while. Blythe grumbled in annoyance, and moved on. Hopefully the smell of blood won’t bring in any predators… Blythe thought, hoping fate would at least give him that.
The stallion limped along pathetically, his pride bruised and his mood sour. He came to a treeline, and stopped to itch the obnoxious wound on his shoulder. He shook his mane, trying to clear his head and calm himself down. It’s alright, it’s just a few scratches… Nothing you haven’t been through before.
Blythe started to move again, but stopped and did a double take when he spotted something he’d never seen before. It was a… Box? A weirdly shaped box, and the smell that wafted towards the horse was pungent and foreign. It seemed as though it hadn’t been touched in a while though, as evident by the lack of footprints surrounding it. Blythe was not a curious horse, and he wasn’t going to take his chances - he’d never seen this thing before, so he wasn’t going anywhere near it. Blythe left the area, his tail flicking behind him and his injuries shooting with pain.

As most people don't know, you can combine main quests and healing images as well as aging images and pregnancy images. They don't need to be separate.
