Description

So here's the finished collaboration between me and crazy-peach-adopt for CrystalAnimamates 's first event "And Unknown Face". It was slow going, but I want to do it again! : D

Is this a dream?

Hei Nuwu opened her eyes as she realized she was now fully transformed. She began to recall what had happened moments earlier: She had gone to sleep after a long day at the lab; perhaps one of the few "easier" days she had had since awakening as a "sailor soldier", something she had only heard of existing across the globe in Japan. As far as she knew she was the only one of her kind to exist, at least in the United States.

She looked about the featureless room, well featureless save for the iridescent walls about her.

"Fulfill my destiny..." she murmured to herself, recalling the three voices she heard moments earlier when she faced that translucent wall.

She remembered the shapes craved upon it's surface in a crest: A Diamond, A three pronged claw, and a crescent moon. Who were those voices? What did they want? What were those symbols? What did they mean?

It was then that Hematite Moth realized that she was not alone in the room. SHe looked to her left and saw another figure and she mouth fell open when she realized this person was a soldier just like her.

"Am I dreaming?" She thought aloud before approaching the other soldier. She was cautious, but she felt compelled to trust this person...

The hell?!! Luka thought as she looked around. this was certainly not the room in the fancy hotell she'd gone to sleep in. she frowned. where was that girl she had been with the cute blonde with the nice ass. she looked around doing a small spin. she felt her skirt.... wait skirt? she looked down and her frown deepened. great she was transformed. she hated the short skirt. it was so girly. but she did like the color. she crossed her arms.

weird dream, weird voices, weird symbols, weird place.... weird weird weird....

She looked around and spotted another person. she blinked. "weirder." she mumbled. "Yo!" She called raising her hand.

Hearing the other address her, Moth stopped. She fidgeted in place for a little bit, unsure of what to say. She finally regained her composure and returned the wave.

"Hello," Moth said calmly. She looked about the room. "Do you know why we are here? Did you see the wall with the crest? Did you hear the voices?" She finally stopped herself, realizing she was rambling and bowed slightly. "I am SailorHematiteMoth. Am I safe to assume that you are a soldier as well?"

"Ah, no, yes, yes.... and ah.... like wise... I'm Lu- ah Sailor Heliodor Stingray.... Gods that's weird to say." Luka frowned. "Just call me Stingray or something like that." She waved her hand. "So i take you've got no clue where the hells we are either huh?"

"And SailorHematiteMoth isn't?" The other soldier asked. "And no. I have no clue. Perhaps the reason we were given these powers and why we're here are connected?" HematiteMoth pondered a moment. "I wonder if there are even more of us across the world...or perhaps the universe. There are sailor soldiers in Japan I've heard."

"Yeah, there prolly are. shit, oh, sorry but... damn... this is hella weird and way not new york. i heard about them... one of my 'friends' is a huge fan." Luka said. "So.... wada we do?" she asked completely out of her element.

"I just hope my roommate doesn't do something stupid in the event this is more than just a dream and I'm nowhere near California now." Moth laughed nervously. "As for what we should do, I have no idea."

"Yeah, 'least they ain't gunna start killing people when they cant find ya..." Luka said. "Cali huh? west coast... kinda funny. we really shouldn't stray too far 'part." she added glancing around.

"I can't help but wonder," HematiteMoth pondered. "If there are the two of us, are there others out there having the same dream perhaps meeting one another?"

Luka shrugged. "who knows, I gather there prolly are."

"I wonder if we will meet them as well." Moth pondered. "You wouldn't happen to have a pen would you? Perhaps if this is more than a dream, I could give you the number to my cellphone."

Luka gave her a look, and gestured to her miniskirt leotard getup. "Do i look like I got a pen?" she asked raising a brow. "Jus' tell it to me. i think i can remember. I'm pretty good with numbers."

"Well, some of the Japanese sailors have pens." Moth shrugged. She then gave the other sailor soldier her cell number. "I guess we should be allies from here on out? Perhaps we should try and find others like ourselves if this proves to be more than a dream."

"yeah, tha;ts sorta cool, where do they keep the pens though?" Luka asked. "Ah, yeah that sounds like a good idea. maybe someone else knows where the hell we are."

Moth thought a moment. "That's a good question, and perhaps we shouldn't think too much about that." She shrugged. "I say we should keep our eyes and ears open and keep on alert. if there are others, they probably have as many questions as we do and they may talk."

"s' long as we don't happen upon anyone who tries to kill us im with ya." She said. nodding. "So.... what direction? This place seems to go on forever."

Moth looked around, tapping her fingers against her chin and even looked a little worried. "I wonder if there is anywhere to go in this place? Is this our destiny? to be confined to a large never-ending room with iridescent walls?"

"Nah, we just gotta keep moving, there's gotta be an end at some point." stingray said. "Alrighty, lets get ta steppin!"

Moth smiled. "You make good sense." She proceeded to follow the other soldier, taking in their surroundings, which was just iridescent walls that went on forever. "Perhaps this will end when we wake?"

"If we wake up." stingray said.

"Wow, that sounds pessimistic." Moth said with a nervous laugh. "Either way, I didn't eat anything unusual before bed, so this dream cannot be the result of that.

"Hmmm, me neither, and im not trying to be pessimistic... but what if its like... we got sucked into another world or something?" Stingray said. "just saying, I've seen Dr. Who and shit can get weird fast."

"My room mate watches that show, but she seems to prefer some cartoon called Adventure Time," Moth said as they made their way down the iridescent corridors. "Now here's hoping nothing happens. My realm of influence in this form is dreams, but I don't really know how they would work in a potential dream world."

"Huh, I got poison. But hey, if we run into any baddies, I can always knock em out for ya~~~" she said with a cheeky grin.

"And perhaps I could subdue them before you knock them out." Moth smiled a little. Perhaps she had made a new friend and ally. Who knew?

"Ha!~ That'll be fun to see who can get to the baddies first~~~" She grinned.

"It does sound amusing indeed." Moth admitted. "I'll hold them in place and you poison them."

"Ooo~~~ That sounds fun!!~~ I kinda want some of them to show up now..." Luka said with almost sadistic glee.

"Well, if this is a dream," Moth wondered aloud. "Then I wonder if we can take the lucid approach and 'dream' some enemies into existence right here."

"Okay, maybe..." Stingray crossed her arms and closed her eyes. frowning. "Nnnnngh......." She grunted her face scrunching up more. "ah..." She stopped and relaxed opening her eyes. "did it work?"

Moth raised her eyebrow and then looked around the never-ending room. "No...I...don't think it did."

Is this a dream?
