Well, this was my entry for MLP Arena's 3rd Annual Halloween Colouring Contest. I didn't win, but oh well there's always next year...and maybe the more monochromatic effects on this particular piece didn't work in my favour. Regardless, I think this is a pretty original concept (for a pony anyway) and I plan to go all out on my Holiday Colouring Conest entry for this year as well as go all out on next year's Halloween Colouring Contest entry.
With that said, I was on a HellRaiser kick when I came up with this..and you can say that I'm still on a HellRaiser kick given a couple of the arts I'm currently working on. Anyway, when coming up with an entry for the Colouring Contest, I thought "What would happen if a My Little Pony solved the Lament Configuration? Afterall, ponies love puzzles..."
Enter HellRazor, my 'Cenobite' pony, who's long luxurious mane and tail were replaced with chains and the flesh was peeled back on her symbol (or maybe her symbol was just completely erased) and a 'mini Lament Configuration' was implanted in its place...among the many other modifications were inflicted upon her little pony self. For some reason I keep thinking she was PuzzleMint prior to solving the damned box. She's much better off now. Really!

Pfffft. I figure ponies like puzzles and who's to say one wouldn't be given the cenobite treatment if they showed enough desire? Besides, I like MLP, but I'm not what you would called a "brony."

I admire (actually means jealous as hell) your ability with pen/ink, any idiot (even me) can mess round with photoshop - penmanship is a little more skillful. Be it practice or talent.
Know very little of the sailor stuff, even less than I do of ponies.
I await (in vain most likely) for the Hellraiser/Mr Bean crossover. This would work brilliantly... No really it would!
See the lament configuration could (theoretically) be solved by Mr Bean but... He just couldn't leave it alone and as the puzzle box affects the reality in the Labrinth he could completely bugger it all up. Enter Pinhead at some point to say that wonderful line from Hellraiser 1.
"Nooo! Don't do THAT!"
Followed shortly afterwards if memory serves correctly by...
"Aaaaaaarrrrrrgggh!"

I have about seven years experience with PhotoShop, but only just over a year with using my tablet. This piece is fairly old, from my mouse-using days and before I took art classes in college.
Watch it, dude. I might just make a Mr. Bean-O-Bite.
Sense of humour? I'm sure you've seen Hellraiser II (Channard Cenobite) and III (Pistonhead and Camerahead come to mind. It looks like Pinhead has a warped sense of humour, at least in chaotic mode, unlike his more "orderly" self, which is of course more dry). Of course the comics had some odd cenobites as well, such as Atkins "The bastard Son of the Order."
