Lovely work but I don't know how to use it. Your tutorial link does not work for me and I am currently into El Capitain. Thanks so much

Gosh, you were inspired by some of the oldest tango icons, and you ended with something quite modern looking, if I didn't know, I would have said these icons were from Gnome-Colors !

You are right too, I stumbled on Gnome User trash here [link] and wanted to make a matching stack but it didn't work just right so I ended up looking at Olivier Charavel's Tango work as well. A mix maybe.

Anyway, this looks good.
By the way, Olivier Chavarel did only make Tango available in icns, as far as I know he did not really create them, did he ?

Not sure, Olivier says they were made from scratch but I don't know the history. But you're right really, the ultimate inspiration probably came from the early Gnome-colors icons by Victor. Softpedia describes their lineage as "GNOME-colors is an icon theme largely based on GNOME, with some icons/ideas from Tango, Elementary, and Discovery".

AWESOME! How do I use these and keep the icon in front instead of the icon disappearing when you download something? THANKS!
