I thought girls like her only existed in poems like these,
Eyes darker than a storm at sea,
Love bites from the razor,
Broken soul,
Scarred by her past, her mind is haunted by her future,
The kind of thoughts that tear deep into her skin,
She carries her secrets with her, notebook in hand,
Spilling the words she holds too dear, counting the days since her last meal,
Destroying herself, it wears her out,
Late nights showing beneath those stormy eyes,
Kept up by unwelcome demons,
Slicing open her limbs, feasting on her insecurities,
Soft music far too loud,
Keeps her fears at bay,
Suffocated by her self loathing,
Her slow suicide.

This is really amazing. I never know how to help anyone either. Very good job! I wrote a poem similar to this called The Hatred also in depression strikes.
