I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem. I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. ~Job 29:14-15Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? ~Proverbs 6:27

I love all your artwork (even the non-HOND ones) but I keep coming back to this as my favorite. Maybe it's the black and white composition, maybe it's the softness in Frollo's expression. In any case, that is one beautiful man.

I like shading and contrast generally. Not really Frolloey, but must admit it's some great pose here - good choice.

Have you seen the Borgia's? If you haven't, I think it's right up your alley. It's like a bog moving Renaissance painting. One that stabs you in the back when you least expect it. love the intrigue.

I absolutely LOVE this piece. It's beyond fantastic!
However, just because you requested a critique, but I don't have a premium membership to provide you with an 'official' one...I'll make one, here.
The detail in the eyes, hands and hair are simply amazing, considering the reference character is a (generally) simple Disney animated character. However, because of the detail in those areas- it leaves just a little something desired in the detail of the clothing. Not a white background and detailed in black...but, the reverse. I appreciate the 'darkness' created in the use of all black clothing- but, just a little bit of whited out detail would have added to it.
Even with that, still one of my favourite Frollo fanarts out there.

Well, you should be very proud of it. No matter wht colors you use it still looks great, since you have a way of treating colors with magic, same goes with black and white. I'm sure that phase will be awesome.

His left hear seems to be just a bit larger than his right one, but that's a detail... Also the bag under his left eye is a bit larger too, but fortunately no one's face is symmetric
You worked very well on shadows in general... The way you colored his closes gives a feeling of movment, the glance slips immediately to his face. Plus the diagonal stripes are parallel to his top hair, so it gives a feeling of wind too...
I think it's definitely the best Frollo's Art I've ever seen. And I love this caracter too ^_^ !

Hihi, the most interesting faces are the asymmetrical ones, I find, but technically speaking, you are of course correct!
Frollo acts as my Muse, he's just such a wonderfully versatile character. I love his layers, and I'll probably write and draw him for some time to come..!
