Not every wolf is one, but most wolves know of their origin. Some consider it an honour to know their lineage so precisely and others revere the trait for its supposed inborn power. Others still couldn’t care less.

Spring bleeds into summer. The season of the sun. The morning comes sooner and the moon grows shy. Now is the time for harvest. Now is the time for commitment. Kviir has work to do and there is more to his duties than collecting the bounty of herbs sprouting across the northern woodlands. [Kviir’s AC; 53 words]

She’d been given time to settle within the Kol territory and yet, as always, Vashti kept to the outskirts of gatherings and avoided conversation as much as possible. Making a ghost of herself was a habit and given the tumultuous events occurring across the island, it was one that would do her no favors. Trust was thin among the Kol ranks and Malaysia’s scrutiny had grown intense. [Vashti’s AC; 67 words]

Their conversations span a great many topics. From myth to fact, miracles to trivialities. The matter of Purebloods is among the many subjects discussed and Kviir is quick to admit that he finds it all wonderfully intriguing. Blood is power and he believes he has seen evidence that the blood of some is more powerful than the blood of others. [Kviir MCC; 60 words]

Vashti, on the other hand, isn’t sure where she stands with the concept. Blood is power, but what kind? Have it, and you live. Generally speaking. Lose enough of it, and you die. She has seen power outside of life, however. Outside of blood. Can it really be as pivotal as so many northerners claim? [Vashti MCC; 55 words]
