Well I waited for the episode to air here in the US so I would give my thoughts on it.
As for my thoughts on the episode? Well.... I'll say it was a pretty good episode having Starlight and Discord in it
Although in some scenes of the episode.... there was still one Filly that still kept irking me in some of the scenes she appeared.

-sigh- well. I know the Cozy Glow is Queen Chrysalis theoryΒ is still false considering that Cozy Glow debuted 1 episode before Chrysalis returned and obviously Chrysalis had a different Disguise in The Mean 6, but still.....it's just something I can't unthink aboutΒ Cozy GlowΒ lately.
I mean seriously.... it would of been better if Cozy Glow debuted in the Season 8 finale instead of debuting one episode before Chrysalis returned. :/

Ok, this was so entertaining that I donβt even know where to begin. I mean we get a glimpse at one of the young sixβs personalities. For one, Gallus is a bit sneaky in a way and snarky too. As for Discord, letβs face it, heβs never gonna change! XD

I actually kind of enjoyed this one, but only in the most ironic sense and probably not the way Nicole Dubuc had intended. Seeing Discord reveal some very problematic cracks in both the School itself [I. E. Twilight not having a plan for when all her teachers are called away] and Starlight's mentality [I.e. Godzilla blasting someone she's fed up with instead of asking why] was too much fun for me not to enjoy, although I'm pretty sure the point of the episode was about how to deal with someone acting like a jerk and not about pointing out these rather pressing issues [which are disappointingly handwaved] and that we're supposed to side with Starlight and not Discord.
Its also very interesting to me how its canonically possible to create fake map missions with spells that Unicorns have developed. Puts a lot of things into perspective...
