I never much liked the idea of Bioware hyping the fact that the Virmire Survivor becomes a Spectre in ME3. After playing the game though, I got the impression that it a ploy by Udina to try to manipulate Ashley/Kaiden. Especially since the whole Spectre thing was quickly forgotten after Priority: The Citadel II.Rendered in SourceFilmmaker

While Udina was ultimately flawed in his decision to accept Cerberus's help to take control of both the Citadel and the Council, you can't really fully blame him for his actions when you take into account how long the Council held out in admitting the Reapers existed.
Not to mention when you find out that the Asari had used the knowledge of the Protheans to become so advanced plus held out until the last minute to give Shepard the information on the Catalyst, his actions become almost acceptable even if the methods he used aren't.

I love these headcanon bits. It's nice to see what someone else had in mind for the way they saw it go. But being that I am a femShep and chose Kaidan all that time ago, and stayed faithful through all the 3 games it would be really awesome if someone did these for femShep and Kaidan.

It makes sense that her assignment would have been tarnished by Udina's actions. She likely would have quickly resigned on her own if for no other reason to distance herself from the traitor. Maybe indicating that she would accept the position if offered by the rebuilt council, but would rather not be a legacy of a traitor with questionable motives for promoting her.

These were also my thoughts after the citadel coup. It was even more glaring when it comes to Kaidan, who is way too upright for the job in my opinion. It would be sad if Ashley's role was delayed completely out of the battlefield though, considering she's a great soldier.

Personally. I would have had Ash keep her Spectre Status so that way the SR-3 would have two agents on board. By hey, it's your idea and you can run it as you see fit.

I didn't like how they gave her longer hair, make up and bigger boobs in 3. In one she was attractive because she was practical and one of the guys. Come three and she's a less glamorous Miranda.

A thought regarding Garrus and Tali. I think it would be nice if the not only adopted a Quarian son but a Turian Daughter, it makes the family seem balanced you know:
Turian Dad, Quarian Mom,Turian Daughter, Quarian Son. Wow That actually has a sing song quality to it if you say it aloud.
