Description
First concept art for Typhonlore, Marik's bitbeast, from Deii Infiri; Typhonlore is based on the Sha/Salawa (Also call Set animal or Typhonic beast), from Egyptian mythology. People actually claim to have seen the Sha in the modern day, but the issue is nobody's entirely sure what it is, so Typhonlore's anatomy is based on Hyenas, Fennec foxes, and Bat-eared foxes. The mythic Sha is the sacred animal of Set, the Egyptian god of storms (especially sandstorms) and chaos, so it's a weather bitbeast, and it's a perfect choice for Marik, since he's the team Marid (a type of proud Djinn), which appear as dust devils to cause chaos, and lure people away and attack them in the form of Hyenas.--
