Description
This is the poster poster from a set of two. The assignment was to make a poster based on a graphic designer. I chose to dedicate my poster to Milton Glassen after seeing an interview. He spoke on how graphic design has allowed him to be a part of his community. I also found the words of Robert F. Kennedy beautiful after watching the movie Bobby. I particularity loved his speeach called, "The Mindless Menace of Violence." The text can be found on the internet. I am also providing link to the interview with Milton Glaser.[link]
I combined the texts, in a singular text shape, because I thought together they spoke on the human collective and showed how art can serve a purpose to bring us together by connecting us with a singular experience, the human collective. This is what I thought Milton Glaser was saying in the interview.
Non-violence and the human collective is something I feel very strongly about.
