Description
The F-102 Delta Dagger was a predecessor to the F-106 Delta Dart. The Air Force had high hopes for the plane, but it never really lived up to expectations. Within just a few years of deployment the Delta Dagger was relegated to Air National Guard wings or sold to other countries (Turkey and Greece each bought a few). Montana Air National Guard flew a few of them in the late 60s and early 70s. After they were withdrawn from service in 1976 this one was donated to the city of Great Falls and it is on display at Lions Park on the east side of town.Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT

Beautiful photo. Even though it is still, it has this sense of speed.

It looks kinda like the plane that sits on the way to the SAC Musuem between Omaha and Lincoln. That's a good pose, to bad the tree is in the way.
