Description
For the Artorder Lovecraft challenge - we were supposed to go back to the original description for a Lovecraft critter and create a painting just from that, without influences from other artist's interpretations.

I always liked the Fungi from Yuggoth, so I figured I'd go with those. It was strange to discover that I think they should have more limbs than I often see given to them, and that the head is supposed to have antennae, not just a bunch of squishy tentacle bits. Most surprising, though, was that they sometimes walk on just their hindmost pair of legs. Clearly, it had been too long since I'd read "The Whisperer in Darkness."
