Description
Part 4 of the series of landscapes based on the land types from Magic. Like "Island," I decided I wanted something a little more interesting than just empty land, especially considering how dull most Plains illustrations are.Related content

May i use this to make an actual Magic card? I got ahold of the official software that Wizards uses.

Haha, glad I stumbled on this! I was actually looking for a plains picture to use in my Magic fan set. Do you mind? I saw this pic and thought it'd make a great plains pic, and (lucky me!) you actually created it JUST for that purpose! So you really managed to get that look you were going for 'gratz
*looks over at the other mana pics you made*

Hey sorry, I'm waaaay behind on checking my messages here. Wow, your set is so complete that it even includes the basic land? Or did you just need art for a white-generating nonbasic that you designed?
Anyway, sure, just put me as the artist credit and you're welcome to use the Plains art.

Yeah, it's a pretty expansive set that probably wont ever see the light of day, but I like to get the artist's approval before I use any of their works. It was actually for the basic plain of the set. I even used the Expanded art frame (like the ones from Unhinged) to show the most of the picture as I could. It really is a great picture, so I tried to show off as much of it as possible.
Luckily, the Set editor actually does have a spot for the artist's name, so thats no problem whatsoever. Thanks for letting me use it though! Anyone who knows me could tell you that I have no artistic talent whatsoever, so this really helps a lot. Thanks again!

Interesting - wouldn'ta thought of Stonehedge, but I have to agree, it adds a certain mystical element!

Well, I couldn't very well stick a lighthouse into this one to spruce it up like I did the island. I was trying to think of things to make Plains more interesting (wildlife, lonely trees, combine harvesters, etc.) and standing stones just seemed like a neat idea at the time.
