But this is basically the way I do all my color linearts, I hope at last one person will understand it and find it usefull ^^

easier...

copy blue channel (the same way you'd copy a layer)
invert it
back to layers - create new layer
on the new layer -->select - load selection - choose the blue copy channel
(...marching ants appear...)
fill with colour of your choice as it's now on a transparent layer

takes all of 30 seconds to do and no mucking around with masks.

also:

click 'lock transparency' for the lineart layer so you don't have to select bits in order to change their colour.

dunno if it takes more, looks for me like it takes the same amount of time, lets see

invert, copy, new layer, fill, mask, paste... Done
yours
copy, invert, new layer, paste/load selection, fill ... Done

looks for me very similar, the same amount of steps, and the steps looks... similar, also the outcome is similar

thanks for the tips, but I think I will stay with my way that is familiar for me and I can do i fast without much thinking ^^
