*Knows is VERY late for Code Lyoko's 10th Anniversary but it just happened to come along whilst I was in the middle of this so why not dedicate this to that anyways*The meaning, even, behind this picture actually -if you haven't already noticed- refer to Code Lyoko Evolution; note Anthea in her office in Switzerland and Aelita in the core of the Cortex.
It kinda refers to the connection point between Anthea and Aelita- via one little webcam/microphone link established over a network, it's as if they're really together, breaching the gap between France and Switzerland. -Or in this case touching via computer/cortex screens linked to each other-
Main reason I did this is that looking around the internet, there aren't many art tributes to Aelita and her mother, Anthea, especially regarding Evolution. I just think these 2's relationship needs more attention
But overall, it's just 'cause I'm really REALLY interested in these two's relationship and I just love them both, basically, as actors or paper.

This scene has killed me many times over. How could Laura not want for these two to be together? That's why I hate her but I love your art.

I think it's because either she doesn't like Aelita enough to understand how great it would be for her to get her mother back and just wanted to spite her, or actually began to understand how dangerous XANA was and wanted to get rid of her asap. But yeah, it wasn't very cool of her to go against the group decision and act out without consulting them first :/
I wouldn't say I hate her, she's just not a very likable character :L

She's worse than William when he started, you must admit, minus the whole semi-stalker thing. She just doesn't seem to care about anyone but herself, and that's what I don't like about people. Not to mention she helped the bad guy, Tyron, find out where the gang was. That, IMO, is irredeemably wrong.
Also, I did see EP 26 again, and you're right about Anthea being in Switzerland. Hopefully Jeremy will realize that that's where Tyron's lab may be and find it and find a way to destroy it.

Yeah, I think her being arrogant all the time is her way of trying to get the group to trust her abilities, though yeah, that's not the way to go about it with the Warriors :/
True, but at that point she didn't know she was selling them out because of the RTTP Jeremie had launched in a previous episode, concentrating it on her.

Yeah, it's with me not getting in enough practice with the tablet and I'm scared of taking ages with shading. Plus ima lazy :L

Well, I tell you all this perspective drawing was a nightmare :L But once you kinda develop the wrist for it its not so bad. Believe me there are a TON of different layers involved in shadows and different colours and junk but thanks for noticing about the backgrounds- I took longer on them than the actual characters I think :L
