I swear I keep forgetting to upload this. Gooo me. XDA V-day present for ~bacnbittz4 ! He loves Beauty and the Beast, so I sought to make something pretty and B&B related for him. β₯
I-I-I-I-I drew this on a plane to Savannah, Georgia. Haha! No circles to work from, either. Freehand ftw (well, okay, I did some measuring to make sure the diameters were consistent, but I didn't have a ruler, either...)! I inked it at home and colored it with Prismacolor markers (and several coats of black Sharpie) after doing a Photoshop color mock-up.
I'm really happy with how it turned out! I tried to do a crazy art nouveau thing with it and make it sorta stained-glass-ish (like in the opening of the movie), plus throw in references to the movie outside of the characters and such, and I think I succeeded. In any case, I like it. And I think he did! I can't really speak for him, but I really hope he did. ^^
