Description
for the Daily Sketch Challenge...this was a little difficult for me, 'cause i'm not a big LOTR fan...and to drum up the energy to draw this character after a full day of work was a chore.
but, i used the time to experiment a bit.....and that made this a lot of fun...even though it didn't turn out the way i wanted. but, a lot of fun to do.
about 50 minutes on this one....

This is excellent for a non LOTR fan. Even I (a massive fan) couldn't draw him that well.

fan or not, i think if you approach the character with some respect and sincerity....you'll always do a half decent job at least
