so, here's one of my fav original designs on the X-men line up. what you see here varies from what made it on to the screen, but this pic demonstrates my original intent.they lost the scarf because i think they didn't want it too closely associated with Harry Potter ( from what was told to me,BTW)....and that's understandable.

So glad you posted this up. after working on that show I'd been trying to explain to people how much I loved Kitty's original design, but I didn't have access to production materials anymore so I couldn't show them why. Great great stuff!

I freelanced on the episode Thieves Gambit as a storyboard artist. From the brief time I was on the show I definitely enjoyed the hell out of the original designs .

Great design on the costume, i love the scarf, boots, and gloves in this version.

thanks.....although they kept the rest of the design....i don't think overseas really got the point of this design. so i don't think the full impact of this look made it on to the screen.

The design has a nice flow. I really like the flaired cuffs and boots, and I usually don't like that kind of thing. And those are great hands; nice gesture work.

thanks... some exec brought up that same comment to me.
i just said , that's the great thing about animation....the realistic logistics of fighting with a scarf is something we don't have to address if we don't want to.
bottom line: it just looks cool!
