My rejected Udon Tribute submission. It's funny, I see the other rejections out there, and I feel like Brian Reagan at a spelling bee ("I was using numbers and stuff...").

Anyway, this image represents my wish that Bass had a little more character interaction in MM10, seeings how Roll's illness was otherwise a big point in the game. It is coincidentally my first attempt at shading that did not involve the curved line MS Paint tool, and the experience was a serious wake-up call that I need a new computer (the lag, dear God the lag...).

Screwed up Roll's hair BADLY; I was going for the MM8 style bangs and forgot that the locks on the sides are much longer/thicker in that style. Well, she's supposed to be sick, so hopefully that bought me some leeway. >.> Don't imagine many people leave their hair tied in bed.

Roboenza cure really shouldn't be as large as an NES health capsule, but the extra emphasis here kinda helps prevent any misunderstanding, hence the sparklies (easy to get the wrong idea if you don't know that she's sick XD). I considered having Bass still touching his hand to the cure as he turned to leave, but the angle was too awkward, and time was short.
