YEAH! What's up with THAT?! I was totally looking forward to running around as a rabbit in Twilight Princess!...Not really. The wolf is WAAAAY better! I think its actually his SPIRIT form though...The Dark World transformed him into his TRUE form; that is, reflecting his kind nature...And the Twilight Realm transformed everyone into spirits...But Link's triforce prevented that from happening to him by transforming him into a wolf...DOES that mean that a wolf is his spirit form? His spirit animal maybe? Zelda games DO incorperate different aspects and traditions of cultures from all over the world. Maybe his triforce protected him by giving him a form that wasn't useless in the Twilight Realm. But...the monsters have the ability to transform people into monsters too...So maybe when that one monster tried to transform Link at the beginning, the Triforce prevented its power from taking control of him and molded that dark energy into something that reflected his ferocity and loyalty, but in a form of one of Farore's creatures. Sounds legit, but what an awesome topic for debate!

Genial, grandiosa idea. Hace unos meses acabé Twilight Princess y ahora me estoy pasando ALTTP después de años de haberlo terminado (hará 12 años que lo acabé) y si que me dejó pensando el tema del conejo rosado y el lobo grisáceo.

ALttP FTW! I loved that game, even the pink bunny part XD He had pink hair in that one, too, which makes me smile to no end XD
Also, ignore the obvious LoZ noobs back there. People who haven't played the games that far back have no idea and are retarded for calling names over a satirical picture in homage to one of the greatest Zelda games of the series IMO.
ALttP was an old 16-bit game with limited colors. The rabbit represented innocence, not timidity. Akira Himekawa's mangas, though highly entertaining, are not the canon to the story lines of the games themselves and one should refer to the game itself rather than the mangas when trying to debate the validity of canon story lines.

According to the comic by Akira Himekawa (2005), he didn´t transform into anything while in the Shadow World until the end. The wolf form they chose might be a homage to Twilight Princess. I was surprised a bit since I remembered him transforming into a bunny the moment he teleported into the Shadow World the first time he was on his way to Hera´s Tower...

Jajaja, no no no, eso era para el Link de A Link to the Past. Osea cada link tiene su forma, ya ke el de ALttP era apenas un chiquillo, y con un corazon muy tierno, era un conejitho, pero el de la profesia de el mundo del crepusculo, el legendario ke los salvaria tomaria la forma de la bestia de ojos azules :3
