The agents and officers left the meeting room, leaving only the Captain and Melinda. For a brief moment, the room was silent with the two staring at each other. Ryan glanced into the hallway before turning back to Melinda, who was about speak, but was quickly cut off.

Ryan: Melinda, what the hell what that all about?!?

Melinda: You can't be serious, right? I mean, so we're just supposed to accept the fact that-

Ryan: -That they're ex-mercenaries being welcomed into our ranks despite the fact that our enemy is a rouge mercenary company, you've said that already! If you had just shut up for five damn minutes you would have let me answer earlier that those two were from a different company!

Melinda: So what if they're from a different company! They're still merc's none the less, and they're all the same! Their loyalty is only towards the highest bidder, so how do we know-

Ryan: Mel, if you could stop talking for a moment and let me explain! Stella and Blake had resigned on good terms from their company shortly after the war with Octavio, so you don't have to worry about that. Secondly, they were selected by myself, alongside Callie and Marie, so loyalty should not be an issue either. Even Cuttlefish trusts them, so why don't you?

Melinda: I've just never trusted mercenaries. They always turn their back on you the whenever the find the opportunity to do so...

Ryan: Trust them or not, Stella and Blake will be working with us now, so you better get used to it. Captain's order's. Dismissed.
