Oh mah Lordy, it be somewhat of a background! Let's all break out into applause now! You have no idea how long it took me to think up something to put there...and actually drawing in the background...my gosh, pure torture XD
I'm not really sure if I wanted to color in the tree [color it completely black], only because I wasn't sure how the drawing would balance out in the end. So for now, it shall remain like dees.
Like eet? :3 I had fun drawing it and decided not to outline it so heavily with mah microns of doom >:3

OH my gosh. The detail in this is amazing. The bird looks so life like, and the concept is very good.

The composition of this is really nice, as is the weight and 3-D/2-D contrast between Ashpaw in the front and the tree... Her position is really nice. Personally, I think the tree looks really good as is. I'm not sure I'd color it in... definitely not solid black without coloring the rest of the pic, but it might need the presence of solid black if you do color the rest. Anyway, great job--I especially love the bird.

Gah, I had such a hard time trying to figure out if the tree needed anything added to it or taken away or if would be better colored and all, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is a tad confused, lol.
Her pose was so much fun to do, the stock image I took this from had a model who was wearing really thick clothes and it was really hard to imagine what the form might look like, and then on top of that give the model a little more weight so Ashy would look like she should [wow, I never thought of how creepy my whole drawing process sounds XD I'm so sorry XD] Anyway, thanks so much for the comment :3
