Aaah good old Linkin Park

Well, I offered requests a while back and the lovely ~Bandach was one of the only people who responded, so I didn't bother with drawing names And she was sweet enough to turn it into a trade too! Here is her GORGEOUS rendering of Sparro Thanks so much!! Go give her and her awesome unicorns some luvinz. She is such an awesome supporter of mine, I really love watchers like her, they make it worth being here

And for my half I couldn't resist the tantalizing mane and tail of Maura [link] her sleep deprived mare I've always adored the color combo, and she is just so gorgeous I couldn't resist Sorry I took so danged long, I was out of town for like the whole week and my Grandma was spending her last days in AK with us, so I didn't get a chance to work on it much

So, this turned out to be a LOT more of an emotional piece for me, my depressions taken a total downhill slide all of a sudden and so I spent a lot of time on this, relieving some of my tensions and sadness into it, lol. Plus figured it wouldn't hurt doing another semi-dark drawing seeing as her mare is based off a character in a horror flick I liked the cliff idea. If I ever go, it'd be neat to spend the last moments enjoying the sheer power of the waves crashing below you, windy and stormy. NOT that I am having thoughts of suicide, don't worry, but I have thought about it in the past ANYWAYS..... I am really really happy with it, I think it's one of my favorite pieces so far I tried a lot of new things with it, played around.

Different pose then usual eh? ~thatonekidstock has a picture of her Henry I couldn't not use [link] So then I had to figure out the bg, and found this [link] and it all spilled out from there I loved the perspective and the muted colors. Bing that Maura was such a bright looking character I wanted to tone down the background a bit to make her pop a little bit more. And I decided to add a few little dried out plants with pale pink flowers Why? I dunno, I just felt like it. And I did her hair different then I usually do manes and tails, can't tell weather I like it better or not, I think I do, but I don't So indecisive, I know And who woulda thunk a ROCK would be so hard to draw But it was

Bandach, I hope she was worth the wait!! Thanks for letting me draw her, it's really helped me

On a side note, I'm still gonna take a few requests for anyone out there interested And question for my watchers, should I cut down on the descriptions? I mean I purposely make them a little longer being that I don't write journals, but not sure if you like reading them or not Thannnks!
