Cold rain bounced of the frustrated mare's body as she marched through the harsh waether. The never ending thoughts about her family never leaving her mind for a second. Never once could she think about anything else. What the hell had happened to everyone of them? This question stayed unanswered and also stayed on her mind forever. Most of the time she was just sad but she was getting angry now, why couldn't she live on? Why was she forced to go it alone? Why could she never think about something else just for a moment? She ended her march abrubtly anc squeezed her eyes shut in sheer frustration, anger and sadness. The thoughts just kept coming just like the rain kept falling on her. "ENOUGH!" She yelled out, her eyes shooting open with a fierce expression. As she yelled the word the rain above her head stoppped and with that also the thoughts about her family were gone. She looked up in surprise to see the raindrops splattering abover her, like a shield was protecting her. Her mind was empty now not a single thought in her head. Though it lasted only mere moments before she lost focus and the rain fell on her head again and the thoughts came rushing back. She was thankful for that moment of peace, it wasn't long but now she finally knew how it felt not to constantly wonder. With a little more hope she continued her journey.

My entry for *mona1995xx 's contest!

We were supposed to draw one of her characters controlling one of the elements. I've had lots of idead with a lot of different characters but Tamina was the one that stuck. Her backstory has so much impact and I thought how she must go crazy sometimes constantly having to wonder about what happened to her mother and brother. So here Tamina is controlling the water in the form of stopping the rain. I hope it's a bit clear to see in the picture.

At first I really disliked this drawing because the shading just didn't want to work with me But in the end it came out looking quite alright and I had lots a fun with the background too I love to do rain

I really hope this is kind of what you had in mind as for controlling an element *mona1995xx And of course that you like it
