Here is a image evolution of how I made my sans mask. Two pumpkin buckets from the thrift store, then masking tape. Box cutter for the eyes and nose, paper mache newspaper over it. Then I took air dry clay to give depth to the eyes and mouth, after that I used elemer's wood filler and covered the whole thing. Keep in mind this is very heavy and if you want to just paint over the newspaper, that's ok too. Then a whooooole lot of sanding, this is incredibly tedious. I then made a sealant of gesso and modge-podge but it came out lumpy and needed more sanding so maybe stick to one or the other and avoid my mistake. Then white gloss spray paint, lastly came black nylon cut and glued into the inside so you cant see my eyes, with black acrylic paint for facial detail. Afterwards I put some padding inside to make it more comfortable, and that's pretty much it. I know this long past the Undertale hype train, but I felt better late than never. Hope you enjoyed my cosplay.
