My first entry for Day One of theΒ LGBT WOF Week ! Here's Glory and Carnelian!ΒIn an AU-that-should-be-canon where Carnelian survives, she ends up bonding with Glory while she's recovering from her injuries, and the two fall in love. Also, to confirm since Carnelian's exact age isn't known, she's 7 here, and thus the same age as Glory.

For real tho she should have survived. Carnelian had a lot of potential as a character. This is a cute pic, and the two dragons here definitely would have some good chemistry together. Like how glory could help carnelian to relax and be more accepting, but also continuing to be a badass when she needs to

Carnelian's age IS known. So, you can put ages on dragons that you want to. That's what everyone else does with ships that you don't like, but you do it anyway and harass people for it. You're such a hypocrite. Either stop making AUs to age up dragons, or quit harassing people.

I'm well aware her supposed age is 6 or 7. Her exact age may be either of those things, but because it may be either six or seven, I confirmed in this piece it is 7. My description of the piece does not go against what is known. It's not aging up if it's... her age.

I think it was actually said she was seven, because she fought in so many battles. And what about Umber, or Onyx? They're adults!!

It's said she's either 6 or 7; I just made a note of confirming it as the latter because people will hate a lesbian ship for anything (and if you look in the comments of the piece, I've already been accused of aging her up and being a hypocrite). Umber ends up getting his age forgotten a lot too, bc Tui made him comment about wanting to date Qibli (yikes, Tui) and I think a lot of people don't realize how old Onyx is either, and just assume she's younger bc Thorn in the books has interest in her father.
For a bunch of dragon books written for kids, the relationships are really wild.
