"That's the way we Zoras greet each other!"Last year, my friend David Ng held a photo shoot with me in my Princess Ruto costume from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This is one of my favorite images from the collection.

how'd you make the head??!! im cosplaying as ruto next year but i need help

Hi! I made the head out of plaster and latex. It was fitted and plastered on my head by a friend, then I coated and worked with it from there. It was attached to my head using more latex coatings, overlapping from the prosthetic head to mine. I had to shave off a tiny bit of the hair near my sideburn area, though; it would have ripped off with the latex otherwise!

Thanks! About the body paint, trust me, I considered it. ^_^
My major concerns with body paint were firstly that I could not reach all spots to paint perfectly myself, the issue of modesty, and the truth that I would never be allowed in a convention wearing nothing but paint. XD
Latex suits were my next option until I researched them and discovered that one can perish or at least suffer extreme pain from heat strokes if they are worn for extended periods of time in warm weather. That is why lycra was the very best, most comfortable, that granted me access to the entire costume to paint.
