Description
CECIL.Between the new Final Fantasy IV re-release for the PSP and the new Dissidia: Duodecim, there is much to be excited about for the coming year!
For now, enjoy another photo of the costumes that and (I) made of Cecil and the Warrior of Light from Final Fantasy: Dissidia.
Each of these costumes were made from our own hands from locally found, household materials and fabrics. We used materials spanning from PVC, foam sheeting, lycra, suede, silk and poster board to craft the armor, capes and accessories that you see in these photos. It took about a month of hard work in 100+ degree weather on top of our standard work and school schedules to make these costumes.
It was a labor of love for both of us; we adore these characters. They're heroic, gorgeous, and have a strength, resilience, kindness, and willingness to battle the darkness inside of them that we both greatly admire.
It goes to show that you don't have to travel all around the world and find the most explosive and expensive materials in order to make something workable, wearable and beautiful. You are all capable of making something grand if you work with enough passion in your hearts.
I especially love this photo; it displays ~RikusWorld 's shield and my staff in almost full detail. The staff has an internal LED that turns on when the light dims.
