I know the instructions are a bit cluttered at the top, but it's pretty simple work.I've had quite a few people asking me how I color hair, so here it is. My first serious tutorial! gasp.
Sooner or later an eye tutorial will pop up, then maybe a chibi one *shrugs*

It takes PRACTICE! Don't limit yourself to this tutorial. I had to painstakingly go through tons of crappy pictures to develop this style. Try your own ideas!

I know someone who does their coloring pretty much the same way. But not quite. I'll have to try this, sometime! Now, just to draw a human half decently.

Although I don't have Photoshop (or any drawing skills whatsoever, for that matter), I will fav it anyway because it's simple and I might use it as a guide for when I DO have Photoshop ^^

yes, the dodge tool is great for a shiny effect. However, do not use it on clothes.. cause clothes arnt shiny xD;

cleaning lineart is very simple i think, what do you do to clean it?

I try brightness/contrasting and leveling ...but I think it's the lines in the paper...(I use loose leaf a ton more than regular white paper) those lines always end up getting scanned in and wont come out when cleaning...hmm, I think I need to learn a little patience with my art as well, to top it off

gosh... theres a tutorial here somewhere on DA that tells you how to easily get rid of loose leaf lines.. but i cant seem to find it. Its in my favorites somewhere...

*started slowly browsing your favorites about an hour and a half ago* la de da...3,000+ favorites with only being able to scroll through 24 at a time is a real time taker xD;
anyways, any idea as to who did the tutorial? Prehaps that'd help more than continueously scrolling...and scrolling...and scrolling :S
